Guys, Harvard did not send me a book written by a known fraud and tell me, "We think you'll be just like this." However, since multiple people have asked and didn't get it, I should feel dumb for a bad joke, not everyone else.TrustInMusic wrote:Got Stones of Hope in the mail today.

My Manhattan is about $1700 with utilities. Just never imagined a place in the US would come close to being that much (well, maybe SF).Wormfather wrote:Lolwut? To be fair, that's 5 minutes walking distance to HLS. I'm sure a couple miles is manageable and cheaper.Yukos wrote:

Got the same book. Handwritten note from Gaby Blum. They've got my number ... quite certain I made the right attendance decision.dcg2120 wrote:...I got Laws, Outlaws, and Terrorists. I'm a bit late to the book party, but I got The Persistence of the Color Line with a note from Randall Kennedy. Pretty neat.

Does anyone know if the deposit has to be received in the Admissions Office by May 1st or just postmarked?

Re: In at Harvard: Class of 2016
Hi all.
Anyone here been slacking as much in the last semester as I have been? I know it's a bad idea for X Y Z reasons, but still... still.... senioritis. I feel like 'gosh darn it I earned this semester of complete slacking!' (along with sudden new commitments this semester outside of school) far outweighs any future worries of potential employers in 1L asking for my cGPA and wondering why it tanked so badly in the last semester.
I mean, no fails or anything... just B's across the board I'm predicting, whereas I had nothing below an A- in any of my first years.
Someone snap me out of my senioritis or tell me to chill the fack into it. Haha. Or sympathize (because that's one thing not many people have been willing to offer re: my whining about senioritis lately...)
Cheers

+1. I've been trying since Thursday, and keep getting error messages. I would prefer to pay the deposit online, but if it has to be done via snail mail I want to do it sooner rather than later.mommalee wrote:Has any one been able to complete the enrollment from online? Nice casual - most people I saw were doing the nice jeans (dark wash, no holes) with boots/flats and a nicer top thing.sabanist wrote:March ASWers: suggested dress code?

I emailed the 1L.....address. At this point taking a check with me this weekend is probably the best bet.
