Transcripts are from anywhere you've studied, certification forms are only from schools that awarded you a degree.az21833 wrote: theres a specific form in the admit package. anybody know if we need to send this to all schools we attending or just where we got a degree from?

Look at you, using the interwebs and shit (and on such a special day no less old man)trojandave wrote:Is there a standard College Certification Form from HLS we're supposed to send to our undergrad to fill out, or will a generic one from the undergrad work? Trying to take care of this soon but don't have my admissions packet with me to check for a form or not. Thanks!

Withdrawing today. Clearly I waited as long to withdraw as I waited to be admitted. Ultimately the school didn't end up seeming the place for me - but you guys were great throughout. I wish everyone the best.

This new fangled technology doesn't make any sense. Give me a card catalogue with the dewey decimal system, turn down yer rock and roll, and get the hell off my lawnManOfTheMinute wrote:Look at you, using the interwebs and shit (and on such a special day no less old man)trojandave wrote:Is there a standard College Certification Form from HLS we're supposed to send to our undergrad to fill out, or will a generic one from the undergrad work? For those who have requested a deferral - how detailed were you in your request?
I'm trying to submit my request today, but I am a little concerned that it might seem frivolous (taking the year to live/travel abroad). How in depth should I go in terms of describing why I want to do this?

Hahaha, IMHO, if its just like Europe or something bland, I would stay as vague as possible. If you're trying to live/travel abroad in someplace where it would add diversity to the student body, then I would go into detail about it...GeneralMuffin wrote:For those who have requested a deferral - how detailed were you in your request?

FWIW I believe they say they will approve any deferral for any reason before May 1.ManOfTheMinute wrote:Hahaha, IMHO, if its just like Europe or something bland, I would stay as vague as possible. My guess is even if you don't get a window you still get an email telling you that

Hopefully it won't matter too much for Gropius, though I would prefer to be away from a bathroom/lounge.

Ended up getting the first selection window.... I can't remember but is the selection random? I'd prefer HUH and I'd be willing to swap for someone who also applied to HUH but knows they wants on campus. If this sounds confusing PM me lol

Window 6 - I guess that's decent...? Anyway, is there a thread (or a part of a thread) where people got into analyzing gropius vs hastings vs north? Is Gropius the only one where you're stuck sharing a bathroom with an entire hallway? I'll hit up the website now but I'd imagine this was discussed earlier and I probably just ignored it

Lucked out and got the first window, too, but probably going to do HUH, if anyone wants me to "hold" a room for them or something!

Re: In at Harvard: Class of 2016
5th selection period. No idea what that means other than worse than first 4 and better than last 5. No sense of what might be available after the first 100 choose. Still exciting cause it gets more real at each step.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
