its way more common than TLS gives credit for

just read the specific language of the enrollment agreement where you are depositing

if it does not ban multiple deposits or require you to withdraw applications "from all schools to which you have been admitted", then its fine

I wonder what their review process is for holds. Like, do they hold a bunch of people and then review them all at once, or do they just wait a month and read files again? I don't like uncertainty.

According to last year's thread, there were a handful of hold -> rejections in early April, I believe. But if we survive that wave, then yeah, WL seems pretty certain.

Is it me, or does this year's hold pile seem a little smaller?

The spreadsheet (which everyone should contribute to, pls!) shows 60ish people. By the same time last year it looks like there were 150ish people.

Yeah, page 4 of last year's thread.

Here's the doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... meEE#gid=0

Random thought: maybe less people are reporting this year because our doc asks for TLS usernames. I see a few people put "lurker" or "anonymous lurker," but maybe we scared some away.

Also, it was started a bit later than last years.
Even so i don't think it would make a 90 person difference.

Ya, I was looking at last year's spreadsheet. I agree I dont think the way that we did it this year will make that big of a difference. I hope that the smaller pool of those who were held means that things in the held group will be different this year!

Reminds me of that Simpsons Treehouse of Horror for some reason...

"JS2s for none"
[booo]
"JS2s for all"

"JS2s for some. Miniature American flags for others"
