Looks like I'm the crazy one.

I'm especially annoyed by those schools which I shouldn't have any problem being accepted into. It's frustrating!

I`m not even sure I want to hear anymore. The ones that are taking forever end up being Acceptances with laughable scholarships anyway...

From what I've seen based on skimming LSN and the forum, UChicago and Stanford have been the worst...

I've got about ten out as well, mostly dec/jan. Even my UG alma mater hasn't changed my status from "app complete 1/19" :(

The problem with being slow to send out acceptances is that some of us have to make decisions on schools/schollies by april 1st ....I have 4 schools i am waiting on anything....no WL, Ding or acceptance. I realize that 3 of the schools I am somewhat of a long shot at, Chicago, Stanford, NU. Plus the scholarship info has not be sent out as fast also....

There is absolutely no reason why a religion is able to choose a new leader before a law school can choose whether to admit me or not.

Any idea if it's common for out of staters to be accepted to state schools before in staters if each has "meh" numbers?

Well depends if its a public school or not. If it is a public school, they'll favor the in-staters (some have mandatory quotas of in-staters, some have soft unofficial quotas etc.) If its private, it usually doesn't matter.

I think tonight i am going to start thinning the herd of acceptances....some schools i have decided NOT to attend. It will give those who still wait in the wings to get a chance.

Yeah that's what I meant, a state public school. I just find it odd that I, a resident, am still in review when several nonresidents with considerably lower numbers have been admitted via LSN. Just venting frustration I guess ha.

How many elipses and periods were in your personal statement?
