Application received/complete 11/6.

admitted via e-mail 12/6. received admissions packet about a week later with $35k/yr scholy.

received an email from Ed Wilkes 11/26 encouraging me to apply for Dean's Fellow, which I did on 12/6 about an hour before I received my acceptance. Still waiting to find out if I am a finalist.

Congratulations! I'm keeping my fingers crossed..my numbers are not as good as yours but I have a few softs that I think should count for something- receiving my Masters in Child Advocacy in May with a 3.9 ..not sure how much this helps (hoping it does for most of my applications)..I'm focusing on a Family Law concentration and have 2+ years working full time in child welfare..also interned for my local prosecutors office..

...the anxiety is killing me

LSAT: 159
GPA: 3.36

Applied: 12/9
Accepted: 12/21

$35k scholly, applied for dean's fellow but pretty sure I won't be a finalist.

I think they said finalists will be notified in March? Or is it sooner?

Applied here on 12/08, went into review a day or two later and then again on 12/19. Fingers crossed!

Currently studying here for my undergrad and wouldn't mind spending another three years there.

I just received an invitation for a personal interview to be considered for an additional merit scholarship award. Has anyone else received this yet?

I received the invitation as well! I only got $15K in my original acceptance letter which I was really disappointed with, so I'm hoping to somehow double or it won't really be an option for me :( Just not worth so much in debt...I went onto the website it listed in the invitation, signed up for the March 2nd open house, and then it told me to enter the password from the invitation and said the interview will be sometime before the open house and they'll email me with more info soon.

Hi all..my status checker says decision is going out in the mail today 1/7/13..not sure if this is good or bad but it does say at the bottom that my first deposit would be $200 due by april 15th and the second deposit of $600 is due by June 3rd- does anyone think this is a good sign? or is this default?

I got some money as well, but I know my numbers aren't stellar. I am considering Quinnipiac, because I am a resident and have connections in the area. However, it is a bit pricey, so I'm also hoping they will be much more generous with the interview.

I applied on 12/4. Got an email today saying I am being put on the wait list. Crossing my fingers because this is the only law school I applied to. Anyone know the probablilty of actually getting in from the wait list?

Not sure what the odds are but it might depend on your numbers and on how many people give up their seat- I do know that less people in general are applying to law school and many schools end up pulling from their wait list but not sure when this will happen or how many get pulled from the list..Maybe consider applying to other schools as a back-up?

It's possible. Apps are down. What are your #s?

I also agree w/ the previous poster. Apply to other schools. Unless you planned on sitting out this cycle if you didn't get Quinnipiac.

In today via email! I was invited to apply for the Dean's scholarship so I sent that in along with my application. It says my application packet is in the mail, not sure about any scholarships or anything yet.

I don't think I ever went in review, just from complete to accepted!

Anyone going to the open house this Saturday? I was already admitted but can't wait for the admitted students day just because I'm eager to see campus and the area..

Anyone get the interview invitation and set up a interview date? They said the interview is supposed to take place before the open house I signed up for (March 2nd) but still no word...Anyone know how much they usually increase your scholarship after the interview?

The reason I'm asking is because I was offered $15K in my letter of acceptance, but will need more money to attend. I have seen others with my stats getting $35K, so I am not sure why mine seems so low (esp. in relation to the university's high tuition). Basically, I'm not sure if I should write a letter and ask for more money now or wait until after my interview and see how much they offer me then? I just don't want them to run out of money before my interview (HA HA - can you tell I'm a little stressed?!)

Am I reading this right? Stipulations are "good academic standing" meaning 2.0 or 2.2? So it's basically guaranteed for 3 years?

Yes, I believe so. They're really trying to rise in rankings and get some applicants in there who might not stay otherwise.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
