Let's keep it simple: is it classy to brag, yes or no?

You know what, you're right. Your incisive wit and high-minded commentary have made me realize I should never have shared my huge life moment with friends and family. Based on your scintillating commentary and obvious credibility on the subject of classy behavior--bolstered by your use of an alias while posting in an anonymous and obscure medium--I've decided to lay aside my own impulses, discard my own judgment, and align my habits with your learned opinions.

Said no one. Ever.

You're a shitty writer.

Harvard disagrees

If Harvard took him, it isn't because of his writing skills. That shit is tortuous to read.

Writing isn't social science. Unless those sentences were a flame, the kid writes some awful shit. If it was normal, careless internet writing, that would be one thing. It seemed like he was trying really hard, and his writing was tortuously bad.

i read this as saying one porn on the internet. this thread has become a monster

also i believe kingsfield is a vet in his forties so he might use fb differently from conventional applicants, though i also have no problem with people posting their letters.

Bingo. The question to me is why he fights this thread. Doesn't he know that his experience with Facebook is different? Makes me think it either might not be so different, or that he didn't appreciate the OPs criticism until he had already drawn his line in the sand.

At this point, the real facebraggers who populate this site will read his posts and think he is on their side.

I am always astonished at Harvard Law School's remarkable Asperger's recruiting model.
