This school is ridiculous... submitted early December, I have not had any correspondence from the school ever since I went complete.

A Message from Dean Brand About the U.S. News Rankings
Congratulations again on your admission to the University of San Francisco School of Law. I suspect you have well-deserved choices about which law school to attend. As you consider those choices, I would like to address an issue that is on the minds of many of our applicants, and indeed, the entire University of San Francisco School of Law community—the latest U.S. News and World Report rankings, which placed USF at 144, down from 106.
Of course, we are extremely disappointed with the new ranking and believe it fails to reflect the true quality of our school and the accomplishments of our thousands of alumni. Thus, at the outset, we assure you that the change in rankings does not reflect any change in the quality of the law school. We are known for our outstanding teachers, our collaborative and vibrant learning environment, and our welcoming and diverse community, all factors that the rankings do not measure and which are critical to your professional success. We are confident that USF retains its strong regional reputation and that our graduates will continue to pursue successful, rewarding career paths.
The sudden change in the rankings is largely attributable to a change in the methodology used to calculate employment numbers. While the new formula favors full-time, long-term employment in which bar passage is required or a JD is an advantage, it discounts the innovative and nontraditional—but no less rewarding—career paths that many USF graduates have taken, including work in international public interest organizations, in business, and in government agencies. Moreover, U.S. News is only one benchmark. Other employment indicators tell a different story: Forbes magazine this month ranked USF among the top 25 law schools whose graduates earn the most, while a previous study by a Loyola Law School professor deemed USF a top producer of big firm partners in San Francisco. Nonetheless, we recognize that the rankings have serious real and perceived effects. We are committed to redoubling efforts to improve all of the indicators that comprise the rankings.
We also recognize that we must continue to evolve to achieve our goals and to fulfill our mission. In fact, action has already been taken: for example, last year our Office of Career Planning was restructured with an eye toward improving student services and strengthening connections with employers. In addition, a school-wide strategic planning process has resulted in proposals that will expand academic support for students and curricular changes that will enhance our already-strong skills training to help our graduates successfully engage the job market. Like many schools, we are also responding to a shrinking legal market by accepting fewer students, which in turn will improve our graduates’ employment opportunities.
Finally this: We are proud of the law school and its legacy of diversifying the legal profession by taking a more holistic approach to admissions. Our graduates use their education in innovative ways, diversifying what it means to be a lawyer. USF is a bold and imaginative leader in the effort to adapt to a new legal landscape by providing the best in skills training for our students and creating opportunities for them to gain the experience necessary to thrive in today’s employment market.
We have pledged to our community and we pledge to you that we will work together to achieve the excellence that you deserve as you begin your legal studies and we begin our second century.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey S. Brand
Dean

My status checker says "Decision Rendered" as of 4/3/13, but does anyone know how they deliver decisions? Is it by email or by snail mail?

USD bumped my award up to $32k renewable. Is there any reason to continue considering USF other than location?

Do all USF scholarships require the 3.2 stipulation?
I don't understand how this scholarship retention chart (for conditional scholarships only) is correct on the USF website.... Chapman has a similiar stipulation on scholarships, top 25-33%, and over half of their students lose the scholarship after 1L....
