What is the dress code for the open house on Saturday? The email stated "smart casual or business casual" but I don't really want to be overdressed as I think it's going to be pretty great weather this weekend!

No dice with negotiations, huh? Well, good luck, man. It's a hard choice. Try to have the least horrible day you can.WisemanAEKDB wrote:agonizing myself over the next 7 hours. i just don't know. also, burgers and brew was amazing. thanks mic!FortunaGubernans wrote:Just deposited. Luckily I have until the 19th. I'm probably going to deposit. Sent a fin aid negotiation email recently, hoping they play ball. But I have a feeling they will wait to see if i deposit first.

Re: Davis c/o 2016
just got my information on my aid. Apparently they were missing some forms so I hurried the forms to them on friday. Anyways I was award 16k merit and 14k need based for a total of 30k. Unfortunately, USC is giving me 75k and UCI 120k and are in an area I am interested in working. So I will be withdrawing from Davis and giving my spot to others. Best of luck to you all.

Good for you! Although I am on the USC waitlist, I would say you should definitely head to USC.Dmini7 wrote:just got my information on my aid. It is with sadness that I inform all of you that I have chosen to stay at Utah, due to the investment factors. I love King Hall and I'm way excited for all of you to have a great law school experience there. It literally came down to the wire, and I only chose because I can attend both. BTW, $27,000~ of scholarship cash goes back into the mix. Enjoy it, I just needed a few $$ more to justify it!
I had a great time meeting some of y'all at ASW. I had an even better time harassing the undergraduate tour guide and learning about the blacksmithing class we could take. Next time I'm in Davis, beers on me!

Hey sorry to hear that man but the finances are the most important consideration. It was good meeting you brother! If you swing by Davis we'll most definitely grab a few drinks.WisemanAEKDB wrote:It is with sadness that I inform all of you that I have chosen to stay at Utah, due to the investment factors.
