You should not attend a school that acquired long-term, full-time, JD-required jobs for only 44% of its class.

People are thinking about not attending schools like GULC with the kind of money you were offered from MSU. Don't ruin your life.

Here is some further reading from the front page of the NYT. Thank me when you eventually realize the mistake you would have made by attending.

If we wanted your opinion on whether or not we should attend this school, we would have asked for it in a "Choosing a School" forum. Seriously. Stop.

What if I have a job already lined up following graduation? Don't speak on behalf of all prospective students. You know just as much as many other students here on these forums and you don't know individual situations.

So, stop. Go stare at yourself in the mirror and love yourself on your own time. We don't.

Poor numbers on the surface, 2.3/159, but my graduating GPA is 3.7. The 2.3 is mainly from failing grades in a semester I dropped out due to illness back in 2007. Plus, I'm Native American, planning to study Indian law.

Got accepted via email this week, nothing on scholarship information though.

If I don't hear anything on scholarship I'll likely have to withdraw. Hoping they come through with something!

I got an e-mail on February 7th saying I was accepted but haven't gotten any information on scholarships. When did other people with acceptances and scholarships receive this information?

Stats: 160/3.2

They called me the same day I got accepted and told me about my scholarship offer. They also had it in the acceptance letter i received a few days later.

I'm the same deal, hoping to get something in the mail either today or tomorrow.

Does the status checker indicate a decision was made? And what was the turnaround for going complete?

I was talking with a 3L at MSU, and he confirmed that they put all of the scholarshippers in the same section so they're graded against each other for the curve. :( However, they sometimes drop the curve requirement if less than 85% maintain their scholarship. Still, this is a serious issue for me. I'm definitely rethinking MSU law, plus, I've been accepted to 2 more schools, and am still waiting to hear from other schools. If the other schools don't do this, I may be attending elsewhere.

This is not true at all. There are usually 4-5 King Scholars in each section and I think it's probably the same balance for the lesser scholarships as well. The curve comment makes no sense either. How is the prof supposed to know who is on scholarship and who isn't when grading the exams and setting the curve?

Status changed today to reflect the admission and scholarship offer.

Curious to see what it is.

I know for a fact that MSU does not group everyone with a scholarship into one section. I mentioned it on the previous page. Whoever you were talking to was either fucking with you or just doesn't know what they were talking about.

Status just changed to "Admitted with Full Scholarship"! Does anyone know for sure if that means full-ride?.... 'cause that would make today a very good day!

That is awesome! Do you mind sharing you GPA/LSAT scores? I will be applying next year and am wondering about what it will take to receive a full ride.
