Congrats to all those who got acceptances. That 43% acceptance rate is truly surprising. I think the employment strength, especially in Chicago, should keep it from tinkering to the 40s though. And Illinois already has enough reasons to dislike Indiana!

I've done my research and I do realize that UIUC does have a strong alumni base in Chicago, but are employment prospects really that strong?

They should be strong enough to keep them from dropping into the 40s. Their employment numbers (especially in Chicago) are better than fellow Big Ten schools Wisconsin and Ohio State. Both of which Illinois would have to drop below to reach the 40s.

Illinois doesn't have stips. Just something generic like good standing which just means don't fail out.
