Based on LSN, it looks like acceptance letters have started to come out, maybe they did waitlist earlier in the day, and my denial will be in the evening

Just got in with a 25% scholarship. Does anyone know if its worth it to try to negotiate more from Illinois based on better offers from Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin?

Wooo! In with 50% scholarship as well =) Really excited about this one. My status checker still says "File Complete - In Review" as of 1/8. I was complete on 12/11. Sounds like you may have one more step to go.

Thank you for the insight,I had noticed a lot of people on LSN said they went compelte on 1/8 so I was exicted, but these must be files that have been in review since 1/8

Just curious, for those accepted, did you write a "Why Illinois?" wondering how much that may have influenced scholarship numbers.

163, 3.6 Went to UG in Illinois (NU) and wrote a why Illinois.

Non-URM, Out of State, and did not write the essay. Admitted with 75% scholarship. Went complete toward the end of November, acceptance email on 1/7.

In via email this afternoon. Out of state 164, 366. I believe I've been in review since the 8th (they held for Dec. LSAT, not my request). Scholarship offer in email, 50%. Did not write "why IL" essay or personalize PS at all.

My status changed today from Complete, ready for review to complete in review. I imagine that this means they are beginning the next cycle of apps

In this morning via e-mail! Well, morning for me because I'm in PST - e-mail came around 10:30 AM. My status checker just changed to "Admit". Received a 25% scholarship as well.

162/3.5 with above average softs. I wrote a "Why Illinois" but it wasn't too detailed, I didn't want it to sound forced.

Congrats to everyone else, and good luck to those still waiting!

It seems like most received their email around the same time the status checker changed. If it's been over a day and you haven't gotten an email then maybe you should call in if you're concerned. Or you can just wait until you get your official acceptance package in the mail. Congrats!
