I live in a northern suburb of Dallas and I just checked my mail today and no scholarship letter. But I do agree with Kalvano, they said they were going out Tuesday but that may have meant they were getting ready to send them out and it will take days for them to finish sending all of them out. I am hopeful for sometime early next week. It did only take 2 days to get the acceptance package from the date they said they mailed it.

I've been complete since 1/8, it look like it's been 6-8 weeks for most people....
I was complete either 1/7 or 1/8 (my status checker has changed so I can't go back and look)
I was admitted into PT on 1/15
Then approx around 1/28-1/30 I got a call telling me that I was into the FT program

G'luck!

p.s. The first admit I found out was via status checker first and the 2nd admit I received via telephone and did not see that change reflect in the status checker for a few days...

Complete 1/4, accepted via phone call 1/28. But, PT acceptance. My LSAT is at 75% but my ancient GPA is sub-25%.

You're also a URM, so you were likely fast-tracked.

Was complete 10/25, in 12/4 (though they called me earlier than this).

But when they post stuff like that, what they mean is they have started to mail stuff, but it takes several days to mail it all.
Don't listen to Kalvano. He's just a cranky old 3L...but in this case, he's a correct, cranky, old 3L.

There still be much accuracy in his crankiness.

I bet you'll really like the PT program. Less stressful, unless you're working full time. Plus, you can accelerate your program after your 1E year if you want to finish up faster.

I'm actually pretty excited about the PT program. I don't plan to work full time. The only part that stresses me out is that my husband travels, so when he's not around my family will have to help with my sons.

I was really wanting to apply for the pt program but I dont have a job in dallas and I was afraid it would hurt my chances of getting in the FT.

I expect next week that we should find out who may or may not have won the STH scholarship, no? Perhaps a few Sumners announcements, as well?

I mention this because they're scholarships are delivered/funded by entities somewhat separate from the actual law school.

congrats!! Very nice. If i get $15/yr for PT, I'd be going to smu w/o even thinking twice :) I have a decent paying job in dfw, so that would keep my debt level to a minimum. Thanks for giving me hope :D but yeah, what are your #'s?

Scheduled a tour of the law school for next Thursday and will also be sitting in on a class. If anyone has any questions they'd like me to ask while I'm there, let me know!
