166/2.8. Went to LUC for undergrad, graduated the year before the snazzy new undergrad campus opened up, and am a donor. Got offered ZERO merit aid and promptly withdrew.

I was apparently not meant to be a double Rambler.

Sure -- I have a 168 / 3.0 and I was negotiating with two ~$25,000 scholarships from T25 schools, and Loyola had already awarded me 25k (but with COL incorporated, Loyola was more expensive than both of them).

I finally decided to go to Loyola even with the lower scholarship offer. Just paid my seat deposit. See you guys this Fall!

I was just accepted w/ $10,000 scholly. Email came in about an hour ago and it was in my spam folder

This was the only school that WL me and I, too, was accepted yesterday. I was offered a $10,000/yr scholarship, half of what Chicago-Kent offered. I politely declined, so hopefully another WL candidate is offered admission.

anyone negotiate scholarships? i got higher offers from all local tier 2 schools and other tier 2 schools nationally. or does loyola really not budge?

I think they have a general never negotiate scholarships no matter what. I had higher offers from a bunch of T2s. They didn't bite, and I withdrew.
