I got my acceptance e-mail around the middle of November and a 8x11 package with an acceptance letter, info about loans, and a bumper sticker. Is this a packet? Or is there another one? There wasn't much in it haha. Just curious.

file under review as of today 160 3.22 hopefully I'll hear something soon!

Edit: I received a bunch of emails from LSU after my application went under review. Is this normal? They already gave me an account for LSU.

I emailed them about negotiating my scholarship and got no response. Then a week later I received a new scholarship offer in the mail. Now it's covering 75% of the out of state fee. Still not enough :(

With these scholarships, tuition will be really cheap. Much cheaper than the other schools i am looking at. Anyone for sure going to LSU? I have never been to Louisiana.
Got same, is certainly in my list.

I love what I have heard about LSU. I have a friend graduating this year. He is off to TX for a job but he seems very happy with all he has done at LSU. I am coming from a not-so-school-spirited school in Miami. It is hard to turn down such a cheap tuition offer from such a big school.

I'm still waiting on a few other schools but I think I'm pretty set on LSU. As you mentioned, in comparison to other schools, LSU is a pretty good bargain especially if you were able to get any type of scholarship. Their employment stats are reassuring as well. My sister in law works at the state capitol in the governor's office and has told me that a law degree from LSU is gold around there, I can't speak for any other areas but that was good to hear.

Great! My friend is a 3L, LA native and he has loved it. I'm excited to be a part of a big school with a good name to it. I will be visiting in Jan to get a feel. Hopefully it will be that "this is where i want to be," moment lol. Naturally, where you go to school is where you will likely be for a very long time. Do you intend on living on campus or off?

Thanks! Still under review. How long is the normal turnaround time for LSU? I should probably stop checking my status every 15 minutes

Keep checking. My app went complete on 12/3. I was in with a scholarship by 12/7. My LSAT was above median, my GPA was below.

Just got a confirmation via email on 1/11/2013...I'm out of state so waiting on the package in the mail to see what I got as far as money. If its pretty good- it will be hard to turn down.

I submitted on Friday and got an email today with my status checker and I'm already under review. Does LSU automatically change your status to under review or did they actually pick mine up very fast?

Sent my application in 1/6/13 and accepted via email on 1/11/13. Email says scholarship info(if any) will come in packet via snail mail.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
