+1 Looking at threads from previous years - some have gotten in shortly after this, other have gotten in after receiving multiple "inquiries", and some have been shut out receiving 2 or 3 inquiries. So, long story short, it could mean anything....

Yes, still waiting to hear an initial decision from Davis and also riding the waitlist at w&l, William and Mary, wake, and cu boulder - but I live in SF so Hastings would be ideal. How about yourself, xiaojimu?

Yeah, also waiting to hear back from Davis and Irvine. I like all three schools, so it is a difficult choice for me

3.1 (english)/163. mediocre softs, with a decent amount of work experience and some okay internships. I didn't get a waitlist inquiry email last week, but got an email this morning and a phone call later on this evening. Pleasant surprise.
