Was thinking this too. I'm sure once negotiation emails will start to come back.

Oh and when wannabe (and me) will get a decision.

Yup. Outting your negotiations publicly is actually a really horrible idea.

Have y'all started negotiating yet/if not when are you planning on it?

Seems like I just barely made that cut as I only am a 166/3.7 and not URM. I applied to 17 other schools and the only other one I have heard back from is Iowa. Is it even worth trying to negotiate with what I have? No, unless I get a comparable offer from somewhere else? Or should I just be happy with what I have? I honestly was prepared for the worst after sending in rushed applications at the last minute.

Congrats!!

No pun intended what so ever but seeing someone is accepted after two weeks while some people wait 3 plus months make you realize how gamed the whole process is.

Thanks! And yea, I was surprised it was so quick. And with my numbers, respectable but not stellar by any means, I wasn't expecting a significant offer like that. Much of my family lives in MO, but in Springfield, which I hate so I didn't even have Wash U as a school receiving serious consideration and almost chose not to apply. But I have spent the weekend compulsively researching everything I can about the school, and I must say that I am impressed.

Btw, for anyone still waiting, like some others in the thread, my grant did go to my gmail spam.

Also, does anyone have any predictions about the new USNWR rankings? It would be really nice to get back into the top 20.

Congrats!! You're like the perfect WUSTL candidate lol so not surprised at the offer. I think it'll end up being 19 or 20

since the people of this thread is so great I'll post an off topic Q instead of opening a new thread:

how detailed should a LOCI be? am I expected to write specific unique things about the school? write why I want to go there?

Don't double space. Did it say that to? I remember search whether to and everything I found said not to.

That's what I thought!
