I'm not expecting much from Emory. Vanderbilt was my dream school growing up since my family's from there. It's going to be hard to say no if they take me.

Wait am i the only one that thinks 105k is actually pretty sick..? I def do not remember them giving 105k to this many people last year, especially to ppl who were around both medians. Yea I noticed some ppl got low-balled...but 105k as a STARTING OFFER is preetty sick IMO.

Bitterness aside, congrats to all! Hopefully ppl who feel like they deserved/merited more will be able to negotiate a better offer in the coming weeks.

ETA: Shit i'm so nervous now.

I'm ecstatic with 35k, though some people ITT deserve more. But like cuse said, that's just their starting point. The email's bit about "partnering with you to create the best financial aid package that fits your needs" makes it pretty obvious that they're willing to wheel and deal.

And according to LSN, the lowest GPA so far was a 3.68. I think there's a splitter batch coming in the next day.

Did everyone else's offer come with a special that the scholarship is a "Scholar in Law Award" and going into the prestige of the award?

But that means they just haven't gotten to splitters yet. And WUSTL loves splitters and LSAT medians, SOOOOO the fact that none of us has heard yet means that they just haven't gotten to it, nothing more.

Every WUSTL associate i've headcounted at the firms has had "Scholar in Law" listed in addition to any other honors.

It's a form of credential inflation. Basically every merit award technically becomes a "named scholarship"
