As someone with a sibling who is graduating from med school this year, I actually think doctors are underpaid and lawyers and businessmen are overpaid.

lol yeah that's definitely true...I just have a unresolved napoleon complex as an Asian with scientist parents who wasn't cut out for med school. I think Med students take out like..320K+ in debt...and then end up losing basically half their income to malpractice insurance anyway

If I had a dime for every time a law school promised me something within a certain time frame and then didn't deliver...i'd only have like 50 cents, but still you get the idea hahahaha

to be fair, I think that NU should have to pay triple for their "promise" of 6 - 8 weeks post dec 1. I still await my waitlist decision from them. Going on 4.5 months since I submitted to them

Well, that depends of the practice, GP can be lower compared to more serious things, but it's insane how much they have to pay. Ironically one of my best friends in high school had a heart surgeon for a dad, and another had a medical malpractice attorney dad. Both were pretty well off.

Don't know if anyone else has posted this but I got an email today saying I hadn't filled out their WUSTL application for student aid or whatever it is.

I would think this means they're in the process of creating merit based schollys for each individual.

I think it's because the deadline for that form is March 1..not necessarily because they're in the process of divvying up scholly. Financial aid is detached from merit aid, since financial aid is just used to calculate federal loans.
