Worse than Yale, but better than Cooley. HTH.

(I wouldn't know but it is not the place to go for that unless you plan on being an adjunct for legal studies or something like that. I think the HYS theory holds for any academia jobs with some leeway to T14).

I am surprised Penn is so low on that list. They are too busy gunning for those NLJ 250 jobs

Soooo....

ETA: Not to be a snob. Wash U is probably not the place to go for a rousing sports scene, is all, if I had to guess.

Shall we reinforce the law school stereotype and start a golf team? We can call them the Biglaw Bears.

But in seriousness. I haven't golfed in so long...all this snow :(

Went golfing with a buncha Wharton MBA's/Ph.D's when I visited Penn. Made a fool of myself. Never again. Never again.

I haven't golfed in a long time either. Isn't there a course right by Wash U? Interesting opportunity ...

I'm the Lebron James of golf. Not in that I'm good, but in that my point total far surpasses that of those around me. I'm down to embarrass myself on the green!

I do not mean to be offensive here but: Can we do a non-rich white athlete dominated sport for all those black brothers out there.

I am thinking basketball, or football. I am even willing to meet halfway with baseball.

Sure, they belong that Ancient Athletic Conference known as the Nerdy Nine. :P

If I attend, I plan on forming a soccer league, for sure. Soccer and basketball are my two favorites. Golf can go f--well, I guess it has its time and place....

Who knows nobody cares about them/goes to their games. They are a very distant third in popularity among STL sports franchises - even lower if you count Mizzou basketball and football.

Don't know if grad students are allowed to do intramurals, but I've been a part of a dodgeball DYNASTY in UG and I'd definitely be down for getting a team together for that too

My school is top 30. The university allocated money from their budget to allow them to compete in London last year. I was impressed, and at the same time a little disheartened that the schools money was being used for that.

My UG did that alot too. It seems to be featured in our school newspaper every year and they state when the final showdown will occur and where at. Apparently it is a very popular thing. I always found it amusing when a student walks in late for a science lecture decked out with his bandana, a huge nerf gun with a nerf sword on his back and 2 magazine clips slung over his shoulder like Rambo.

Lol it was always kinda fun to observe, especially once a lot of people were zombified and would run around in huge hordes. My school played every semester. I never actually played though because I knew if I did I would try hella hard to win which would make me paranoid and make it a pain in the ass to go to class; I definitely didn't need to give myself any more excuses to bail on classes.
