3br in Chicago near any of the law schools (excluding U Chicago which is in a scary area) would run you 3000 at least. I had a 2br/2bt about a mile from NU (granted it was a penthouse - not bragging so don't take it that way) that was considered an absolute steal in my building for 2400.

That's actually a $150 increase from the rent right now in the 3br i live in, but it's Oklahoma and everything is cheap.

I lived in the Mission, but my friend lived in the 'Loin and paid like $1700 for a studio. That's just absurd.

Holy crap, I thought I was getting raped when I paid $1450 for a studio. Is it an all inclusive building like mine was? I had a basketball court, pool, and gym.

LOL. I live in a 1bd in SF for $2900. It was the cheapest I could find at the time.

LOL at all us city-dwellers salivating over the cheap rent.

I'm just imaging my life with $500 ish in rent... Oh the money I'd have. The things I'd do. THE SHIT I'D BUY.

So insane!! That's partly why I really don't know if I should consider attending Fordham even if I get off their WL (since NYC and SF COL is almost the same, and sf is prog higher)

8 person house in Syracuse..3500/mo

Extra money was spent on beer, Jimmy Johns subs, and anything we thought would be funny to watch the pledges have an eating contest with.

Fordham was my first eliminated for this very reason. It's just ridiculous.

Um, I lived at 19th and Guerrero and paid $600/month. Granted, I was sleeping on a futon in a living room turned spare bedroom, but damn.

But I was very much the exception to the rule. That city, while wonderful, is obscenely expensive.

Yeah I'm not going to NYC unless they literally pay me on top of a full ride. So LOL @ that happening.

Yup. I just can't justify it although their biglaw numbers are very impressive

Nope just a Victorian walk up. I'm in Pac Heights though.

You have a Victorian walk up in Pac heights for 2K?? So jealous. I'm splitting a 1 br in Hayes Valley with my bf for $2900...it's 1000 sq ft but still.

Honestly, for St Louis, that linked apartment is actually not that good of a deal, and in a pretty inconvenient location for the law school.

Got in today! When it says how many people are coming with you on the ASD RSVP website, can you put down your parents or is that taboo XD?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
