In off wait-list as well! I'm guessing no scholarship money? I'm pretty set on Illinois with 75% off, but going to Wash U would be absolutely amazing!

Congrats! I don't think you should give up on scholly yet, they gave money to WL admits last year..and there's a lot of movement as people withdraw and free up awards, so I would definitely wait and seeilliniguy1551 wrote:In off wait-list as well! Well I emailed Admissions asking about scholarships and for an extension on deposit date deadline. Admissions gave an extension and just mentioned that scholarships come out via email about a week after acceptance. So I guess there is hope?cusenation wrote:Congrats! I see Cuse has been slacking on the OP. It's still a mere copy of my flawless creation.

For those that just got in off the wait list congrats! In terms of scholarship I initially received no money in my acceptance letter. The letter did state that my file would go to the scholarship committee for review. Approximately 3 weeks later I received my scholarship. The scholarship language also includes a section about matching offers, so once you get your initial scholarship be sure to send them your highest offer (best if from a peer school) I sent mine from Alabama. They matched and exceeded the total cost of attendance, as Alabama is a cheaper school. Good luck all!

I wouldn't completely write WUSTL off based on its rank...my friend has 3.7/163 and he got 45k from WUSTL. Granted it's not a lot but it's something2012Lsatscore wrote:Were you waitlisted? Either way, I think they would scoff at my Georgia offer. (Even though Georgia has impressive numbers.) To be honest, WUSTL was the last wait list I would have expected to get off of. I have a 164 for christ's sake. It is the highest ranked school I applied to. WUSTL is pretty awesome, but I honestly don't know if there's anything I can do at this point...buy a powerball ticket?!jdmonkey wrote:For those that just got in off the wait list congrats! I was not on the wait list. However I believe that most people receive their scholarship after being admitted.2012Lsatscore wrote:Were you waitlisted? I would still try. This is the exact language from the letter: "We realize that you are starting to receive financial aid awards from other schools where you’ve been admitted. Please know that we are willing to partner with you to create the financial aid package that best fits your needs."2012Lsatscore wrote:Were you waitlisted? Wow...I turned down WUSTL, so I won't be moving to STL, and therefore _I could have found my future husband_ but now I can't move in with him?shifty_eyed wrote:Anyone still looking for housing might want to check this place out (females preferred)

This guy sounds like such a sincere WINNER. I am really missing out. A dark day indeed.
