I also got the email. They give you a choice between LSAC and easyapp.
I am choosing LSAC; I feel my PS adds a bit to my app.
Thankfully I had been planning to ask WUSTL for a fee waiver tomorrow and submit my app if they granted it. Toured St. Louis last weekend and found it to be an incredible city. Certainly an atmosphere I wouldn't mind spending the next three years in.

Maybe they request the rest of the info from LSAC?

Looks like they get the LoR through LSAC still, the rest it sounds like you can just attach? I wasn't really considering applying, but then I got that email, so I figured why not. Though if I have to pay the 20 bucks to LSAC I'm out...

And here we have with us the polar opposite of wannabe. (In terms of Wash U interest.)emarxnj wrote:danitt wrote:Maybe they request the rest of the info from LSAC?

I thought my cycle was over, but who doesn't have the 2 minutes it takes to fill one of these easy applications out.
Absolutely genius way to boost selectivity right there.

That short form app blows my mind. I wonder how desperate for apps WashU is this year... Maybe they're trying to protect their acceptance rate? Crazy.

I believe the short app was a way for Feb lsaters to send in the app while they are waiting for their scores because the lsac wont let them send in their apps without a score posted. I could be wrong.

Unlikely considering they are now going to be inundated with EASYAPPSUnoriginalist wrote:That short form app blows my mind. I wonder how desperate for apps WashU is this year... Maybe they're trying to protect their acceptance rate? Crazy.

I'm sure I'm the only one but I find this easy app thing to be way more rediculous and offensive than what GULC did for the scholarship application process. Like, way more.

I'm with you on that one, depending on the reason it exists at all. I think if everyone could have bypassed the LSAC application process (and fee), they would have. If Wash U would like to have people apply outside of the LSAC, they should just have everyone go through some version of "EasyApp" or applying through their website. It sucks that most people went through LSAC, like normal, and some now have this other, equally valid, option.BigZuck wrote:I'm sure I'm the only own but I find this easy app thing to be way more rediculous and offensive than what GULC did for the scholarship application process.
