Class of 2016 Facebook page has 143 people, class of 2015 has over 200. What's going on?

People get kicked out if they pledge allegiance to another school (like wokeup, shift, dproduct), current students aren't allowed in due to a few spamming their subleases. I imagine this didn't occur in previous groups. Plus their class size was ~200, while ours will be around ~185.splittermcsplit88 wrote:Class of 2016 Facebook page has 143 people, class of 2015 has over 200. What's going on?

Just that the class shrink over the last 2 years is surprising

Damn. I thought WebSTAC would tell me what section I was in. No class schedule for me yet. Although they are currently charging me for health insurance so at least that was good to know.

I think it'll help overall..especially with non-BigLaw. BigLaw has grade cut-offs, and if there aren't enough WashU grads to go around, they'll just hire from another school. So smaller class means less kids that are "BigLaw eligible" as far as grade cut-offs. But non-BigLaw employers aren't as grade sensitive. It's more about their needs and networking at that point. It's just not feasible to place 350 kids into respectable jobs, which is how big Romo's class was i think.WanderingPondering wrote:How do yall think the reduced class size will affect us? The C/O 2015 is going through OCI right now. At 201 before transfers, their headcount is pretty close to ours. So we'll see how it pans out for them. If it looks like they're getting screwed, we can all drop out and open a froyo.

They announce crap like where free pizza will be that day at lunch, specials for happy hours, upcoming dates of events, and other helpful stuff. Prob will want to let some of them in once semester starts (mostly the SPA nerds and such), but yeah, keeping the sublease spam out is probably a good idea.cusenation wrote:IFhoos89 wrote:if you let them.

Yeah at this point we just ask them not to start spamming a bunch of irrelevant stuff. Some of them have definitely been helpfulBirdnals wrote:They announce crap like where free pizza will be that day at lunch, specials for happy hours, upcoming dates of events, and other helpful stuff. Actually most of those decisions were driven by the lobbying of a particular non-admin (what a wannabe right?)sublime wrote:Dolphine wrote:People get kicked out if they pledge allegiance to another school (like wokeup, shift, dproduct), current students aren't allowed in due to a few spamming their subleases. For those with go.wustl accounts: Have any of you checked out your unofficial transcripts in WebSTAC? I am a bit surprised that it shows my UG GPA, I did not realize my LS transcript would include that...
The unofficial transcript also confusingly lists two LSAT scores, one is labeled "SCR" and is clearly my highest lsat score. The other is labeled "IDX" and list a really low number that is DEFINITELY not my LSAT score.
Two questions:
Will employers at OCI see my UG GPA and LSAT score in my law school transcript?
and
What does that mysterious LSAT IDX number mean?

It isn't the raw score, I looked up my raw score and it is definitely not the same as the IDX.Randomnumbers wrote:No, and the number of questions you got right, I believe.Spikedude wrote:For those with go.wustl accounts: Have any of you checked out your unofficial transcripts in WebSTAC? Hrrmm I've checked again, and it's not my raw score, percentile, percentile in class or applicants, or anything else. I really have no idea, and shall endeavor to find out tomorrow.

This is just a wild guess, but perhaps it's either a variable in, or the product of, WUSTL's LSAT/GPA admissions formula?Randomnumbers wrote:Hrrmm I've checked again, and it's not my raw score, percentile, percentile in class or applicants, or anything else.
