Huge changes for the bottom. Just because I live in seattle I checked SU. Went down from 82 to 101! Jesus

New median salaries for Wash U:
(btw, rankings are out. see: http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandr ... w-rankings)
Private sector:
$105,000 ($30k drop, I believe, from last year)
Public service:
$58,000
Obviously to be taken with a grain of salt, but interesting, perhaps, in looking at trends.
ETA: also noteworthy: 52.7% employed at graduation

I think it's safe to say that if I can negotiate some more $ out of WUSTL then I'll be there in the fall! Either that or ill take the year off, but I think ill be making the move

I'm glad I sent my LOCI today and it was recived prior to the rankings! This way WashU can see I love them and it's not just because of their riseHomelandsagreatshow wrote:I think it's safe to say that if I can negotiate some more $ out of WUSTL then I'll be there in the fall! That 52.7% is really competitive with the t20. Notbadobama.jpgUnoriginalist wrote:New median salaries for Wash U:

Same thing here. If I can get to almost full tuition, I will be there.

haha, fair enough, I am only about 10k a year off of it though, so we will see.
66.6% employed 9 months after graduation is a bit of a drop, isnt it?

Oh, sorry, I was thinking of the employment number on LST. Don't really care about 9-months-out since it's not a very consistent number to use for comparing across schools.

A good friend of mine from Spain is really confused that last week I was talking about choosing between George Washington University and Washington University in St Louis, neither of which is in Washington.cusenation wrote:Tomorrow i'm gonna put together a Founding Fathers ranking.
