Can I have your scholarship?

People at the Crowne: does anyone know if the hotel will pick up from the airport?dproduct wrote:Samesoloman23 wrote:I'm at Crowne Plaza and down to meet up.smustang wrote:at the risk of coming off as the lurker that am, anyone staying at the Crowne Plaza have plans to meet up before they head out Thursday night?
Also, I realized today that you can bring food through airport security and I began wondering if Jello shots would be considered a solid or a liquid.

I've found that airport security is really willy-nilly on what is actually solid or liquid, and mostly wants to confiscate whatever looks tasty (says the girl whose Neiman Ranch holiday ham was nearly confiscated last year/set off a mad alarm because it looked like a bomb in the scanner). Also, applesauce = liquid.rabbitrun wrote:People at the Crowne: does anyone know if the hotel will pick up from the airport?dproduct wrote:Samesoloman23 wrote:I'm at Crowne Plaza and down to meet up.smustang wrote:at the risk of coming off as the lurker that am, anyone staying at the Crowne Plaza have plans to meet up before they head out Thursday night?

You're welcome. This is the kind of wisdom I intend to impart on you, my fellow-classmates-to-be, if I attend WUSTL.

I think the TSA considers a "solid that flows" as a gel.

On the information you have request, we do offer complimentary shuttle servcies from 6am to 10pm. When you arrive at the Airport you will give us a call at 314-726-5400. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes, at that time we will let you know which exit for the driver to pick you up at. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me. Thank you for your time.

Wait, are you actually using blue text to denote sarcasm? I didn't know that was a thing outside of one specific forum.RedGiant wrote:

I'm gonna miss the happy hour by 2 days, I'm leaving LA on the 7th. Sounds fun though, I would otherwise go.dproduct wrote:Anyone going to try and attend the WUSTL Happy Hour in LA?

I do not know the forum you reference because I am not in the TLS in-club yet/don't know if I ever will be. I like color, in general.Crowing wrote:Wait, are you actually using blue text to denote sarcasm? I didn't know that was a thing outside of one specific forum.RedGiant wrote:

That would be giving me too much credit. Using it only to denote a response (which was slightly sarcastic, I'll admit). At work, whenever we have giant back-and-forth emails, color is often used to show comments...kind of like an Outlook version of tracked changes. That's it.
See ya in two days!!!! Just printed off my boarding pass.

I asked Dean Orr and she replied back saying: "The dress attire is casual but nice casual. So, jeans may be appropriate but not with a hoodie and tennis shoes."shifty_eyed wrote:What's the dress code?
