Do you guys think I should do it in a formal LOCI ("I'd like to inform school X about my new LSAT Y, here's why I'd love to attend...") or just shoot the general admissions email address a message about my new score?
quick e-mail. That way they can make sure it gets downloaded to your file.

Why not both? :D

In reality they'll get your score automatically from LSAC, so you should use your new LSAT as an opportunity to reinforce your interest.

In my opinion, having the text in an attached document is more professional. It shows that you have put a little more time and thought into the appearance of the letter.

Yeah, I'd format it like a letter you were going to print and mail, that way they can easily put it in your file.

+1

Also, when the secretary (or whoever) receives your email, they include it in your file. It probably just looks better if it's in your file as a formal document/letter than just a print-out of an email

Edit: Scooped.

My tax return is officially late. If I get WUSTL scholarship info and my tax return today, I will forever celebrate March 8th as fiscal responsibility day.

Fun in both cases

Actually, I'm just as conflicted as wannabe. Like I said before, Vanderbilt holds a lot of lay prestige in my head that it shouldn't, and it would be tempting to make a bad financial decision based on that. It'd be easier if they just dinged me. However, I'm sure you guys will keep that from happening.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
