Not sure why you had to share that last part, but best wishes anyway.
Personal vendetta. You will hear a lot of anecdotes like mine if you live in the area. But it's absolutely a great school.

Just turned down my acceptance from the waitlist. I love UNC and the area, but I simply couldn't justify the massive difference in cost between UNC and some of my other offers.

Best of luck to everyone still waiting and/or heading to Chapel Hill this fall.

There are reasons why I feel the way I do, and in the thread over in choosing a school, people have complained about the admissions office that aren't even from NC. Im just saying that in my experiences, there is truth to those complaints that encompasses more than the law school.

For those of you who have gotten accepted off of the wait list, what are your demographics and scores?

I've been accepted off of the waitlist but am not sure enough to commit by the end of the day tomorrow. Does anyone know if accepting the offer of admission is binding or if it only requires putting down a seat deposit?

Hey guys,

My roommate and I (both incoming 1Ls) are looking for another person to occupy the third bedroom of our 3BR, 2BA condo in the Oaks (off 54, one block past Glen Lennox). The place comes furnished except for the bedroom. Also, it has W/D/DW and is right on the V bus line, which goes right by the law school. Please let me know if you are interested and want more information.

Congrats. Your scores are better than mine and I did not submit my application until VERY late in the admissions cycle. I know I am long shot. But there is still a chance!

In off the waitlist but will likely not be accepting by the end of the day. 162, 3.82, Non-URM, non-NC resident, wrote all supplements but no LOCI after WL. Hope this helps ya'll figure out where you stand.

I know they have in-state quotas, but I was really disappointed with a WL here, given my numbers. UNC was originally toward the top of my list and a school I woulda been thrilled to attend. I might have been competitive for scholarships, but because of the WL, I'd probably have to pay sticker. Just can't trade that for $20k/yr to W&M, so hope this makes room for a deserving future Tarheel!

I am Eric Plow. Very interesting comments about me. But I have found over the years that people who make these type of comments are individuals who do not comply with the terms of the lease and feel that they are "special" and need to be treated differently than anyone else. If you would like to communicate with me or talk to several of our very satisfied tenants, let me know.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
