Kajual,

The weather in Indiana is unpredictable.
It's going to be in the high 50s later this week, but then will probably be in the low 30s again the following week.

It's snowed every year I've lived here past April 3(my birthday). So it's really hit or miss. Bloomington is more southern than I am, so I would say a safe(ish) bet would be April.. But really, the weather is never COMPLETELY awful but it's almost always unpredictable

So after the first big(ish) batch of Acceptances is this anyone's likely choice?

I'm still waiting to hear back from several schools but after my generous scholly offer IU definitely bumped it's way to the top of my list

Received my acceptance letter today with $120,000 scholarship. The scholarship seems to not have a gpa stipulation which is amazing.

Joanne,

Nope. No real scholarship stipulation.. Basically it's be in good standing. From what I've read on past student threads and grade distribution the only way to lose it is to flunk out or get kicked out! So it's a very awesome deal. They changed in when the economy tanked from what I understand.

Thank you for the heads up...I'm eye balling April unless they do a Law Day this year. Regardless, I'm a true Floridian so my idea of cold and snow will be totally different from you midwesterners. lol

I think IU is definitely one of my top 3 choices. Out of state fees are pretty substantial though. I'm excited to visit though.

Just Decision Made.

I didn't know when my letter was sent, but it had to have been sent pretty quickly after it changed to Decision Made.

Status changed to "Decision Made" last Wednesday but it doesn't say any mailings have been sent. As if this process couldn't be any more painful. I'm hoping for the best but I wish they would just email decisions or have admit/deny/waitlist updated on the status checker. Anything is better than an extended wait. Best of luck to all!

Too16, they don't say that mailings have been sent. Keep checking your mail, you should get something this week or next! Good luck!

hey all,

I got an email saying that I was chosen to interview with the school in February in DC. Anybody know what this means? I assume it makes me a borderline candidate but does this mean I have a good shot of getting in? Has anyone else interviewed there/ know what it's like? I didn't expect to be interviewing with anyone so I'm pretty nervous.

Thanks!

What!! I just checked the status checker and it says Decision made 12/28 but I've still got nothing. (I live abroad, so it still may take few more weeks..)
But the requirements list of the status checker wants my "picture".
Will it be a good sign?

Just called the admissions office to ask if they could tell me my decision over the phone since I'll be out of town next week, and they told me I'm admitted. The lady didn't have info about a scholarship offer though, so I'll have to wait for the letter to find that out.

Congrats! I'm going up there for the Law Day in March. I want to feel the vibe of the campus before deciding if I'm going to accept.

Got an email today urging me to apply (I had been planning to submit this week anyway) with a fee waiver and pretty much spelling out a large merit scholarship offer...

I assume this is just lip service? Expedited review they claim as well... anyone have experience with this?
