Nothing yet. I hate how it's rolling and not a set date!

They had been sending a second email shortly (within a few hours) after the admission email, but I don't know if that has changed.NewYorkL wrote:After acceptance, how long does it take to hear about any scholarship info, if any?
Thanks.ariadne328 wrote:They had been sending a second email shortly (within a few hours) after the admission email, but I don't know if that has changed.NewYorkL wrote:After acceptance, how long does it take to hear about any scholarship info, if any?

I'm surprised by the short span of time between the WCL acceptance and the PIPS acceptance.ckeeler90 wrote:Heard back from PIPS on Feb 28.
Applied Mid January. Accepted Feb 25 to WCL, accepted Feb 28 to PIPS - so it was very soon after acceptance. Received an email and a phone call.

I went complete in September. Had an update the first week of December. Above both medians. It's absurd.teiswei wrote:PRgradBYU wrote:Ugh, I applied to AU back in January (literally just because they gave me a fee waiver) and it's been nothing but radio silence. I feel like I'm about to get YPed.

How do you withdraw? Just write a friendly e-mail or is there a formalized way?PRgradBYU wrote:Just withdrew my application. Didn't want to give them the satisfaction of denying or wait-listing a URM who is above both of their medians.
My app rests on pride at this point as well. I don't know if I'd feel better waiting out the cycle only to withdraw or get a leg up now and withdraw.PRgradBYU wrote:Just withdrew my application. I bet they send you an email saying you are rejected. You know, to boost that yield percentage, and so they could have the last laugh like a vindictive ex .PRgradBYU wrote:Just withdrew my application. I just wrote them a brief email. It said something along the lines of: "I would like to thank the admissions committee for considering my full-time JD program application; at this time, however, I kindly ask that you withdraw my application. Thank you. (Full Name)"gatorgirl2012 wrote:How do you withdraw? Just write a friendly e-mail or is there a formalized way?PRgradBYU wrote:Just withdrew my application. I would become an AU hater for life if they did that.Dmini7 wrote:I bet they send you an email saying you are rejected. You know, to boost that yield percentage, and so they could have the last laugh like a vindictive ex.

Pretty sure that's exactly what happened to mePRgradBYU wrote:Ugh, I applied to AU back in January (literally just because they gave me a fee waiver) and it's been nothing but radio silence. I feel like I'm about to get YPed.
What a joke. I really don't understand their game. I was legitimately excited to go to this school earlier in my cycle. I only see them slipping further down the ranks if they keep up these kinds of admissions practices. it's a shame.patricksouthern wrote:Waitlisted this morning with a 168. Yeah, I don't want to turn this into a "bash American" thread -- if some decide it's the best option for them, all power to them -- but some of the things this school does just make you shake your head. Pretty hilarious someone who got into George Washington without being waitlisted couldn't get into American initially.gatorgirl2012 wrote:What a joke. I really don't understand their game.
