With a 162/3.1 oos do I have a pretty good shot at getting in, and would I have any chance at money?

Compare your stats with the ones listed here for Temple: http://top-law-schools.com/forums/stats ... ool=temple . Money is a little bit more difficult to determine, but you should at least get a sense of where you stand from taking a look at it. Good luck!cooldude87 wrote:With a 162/3.1 oos do I have a pretty good shot at getting in, and would I have any chance at money?

Starting to get a little nervous, haven't heard any good news yet and I applied in early November... my stats suggest I'd have gotten in pretty easily (3.06/168) but maybe there was something wrong with my application? ... hoping to have this as an option considering how cheap in-state is.

There's only been one wave of admits. No need to worry yet!Granfalloon12 wrote:Starting to get a little nervous, haven't heard any good news yet and I applied in early November... my stats suggest I'd have gotten in pretty easily (3.06/168) but maybe there was something wrong with my application? ... hoping to have this as an option considering how cheap in-state is.

Still no word here. 3.1 169, so I'm pretty surprised. Figured they'd jump on the LSAT sooner.

Re: Temple University c/o 2016 Applicants
I just got my letter today and got the Beasley scholarship, $17,500 a year and I'm in state. Temple was my safety but its looking more and more appealing now that it would put me in virtually no tuition debt (besides COL obviously) but there is a stip that you have to remain in the top 1/2 of your class, any one know the likelihood of me negotiating to get that lessened or removed? or know how I would go about doing that?jlx wrote:any scholarship offers?

Re: Temple University c/o 2016 Applicants
I am not exactly sure, but I do think that top half is manageable... I'm curious myself though, as I would like to have GPA stipulations removed from scholarships from other schools. Any ideas? How do you say "take off this stipulation and I'm totally there" without sounding like a lazy student or just plain rude?kaf5250 wrote:I just got my letter today and got the Beasley scholarship, $17,500 a year and I'm in state. I am still in "complete" on the Temple status checker all the way from late November. Not looking good for me How long did it take to get a decision for you?
