Have faith, waitlisters. I just withdrew with a $96,000 scholarship. One of the toughest decisions I've ever made -- I absolutely LOVE Alabama Law as a school and the people who are a part of it. Best of luck to all of you, and congrats to those who will be attending on making an outstanding choice.

Decision rendered as of today, now the mail waiting begins. I'm thinking that it is a definate ding, since everyone who got in seems to have gotten a phone call...

This is probably accurate. I expect the same but won't be too upset about it.

A few people were added to the FB group this week.. There's approx. 131 without the admissions staff and approx 5 of those students have other law schools listed on their profiles. So there's some hopeful FB creeping for those of you waiting it out!

The email I got on Memorial Day stated that decisions should be made within two weeks, so I'm assuming all decisions are going to be out by Friday (or next Monday).

So I was planning on attending UGA until today.. when I received a call from Alabama offering me full tuition + stipend. Still not a 100% sure what too do now, since UGA gave a decent offer as well, but I will def be coming to visit Alabama. Does anyone have an perspective on UGA vs Alabama? I'm from WA so the South is a bit foreign but I did enjoy Athens when I visited.

Honestly, not to my knowledge..

But you're 4 years away from that decision if I have read your previous posts correctly.. So a lot could change, including your interest in Alabama Law (or law in general) as well as their policies.

They're in the process of finding a new Law Dean and who knows what the future holds.
