Congrats! Mind sharing what part of the country you live in? Curious if I may have something arriving today or tomorrow.sdmelzer wrote:In today via snail mail.
Word. I've answered two unwanted phone calls today from 800 numbers just in case.AMilfordMan wrote:Comcast needs to stop calling me from an unknown Georgia number. Seriously.
I'm in North Carolina. I saw a little earlier in the thread that a guy in Atlanta received his packet on Friday so it has had around 2 full days to move through the post. If you are in this batch, I would assume that you'll get something unless you are west coast.dougfunny wrote:Congrats! Mind sharing what part of the country you live in? This will never end...I received a call from a 404 number today, thinking it was a law firm that I had interviewed at last week I professionally answered the phone, then it wasn't.AMilfordMan wrote:Comcast needs to stop calling me from an unknown Georgia number. Seriously.
I got this last year....and called. Turned out, I was accepted and my letter was lost in the mail. They mailed another and THAT was lost in the mail too. ATL mail is AWFUL.lsatownsme wrote:Just received it as well. It did have some specific info that seems to be directed toward admitted students, but is at the same time general enough to be considered a confirmation email for my FAFSA. What a tease...
That being said, is there anyone who submitted FAFSA but did not receive this email?

Did everyone get that or should I assume I'm in?
May I ask if they were willing to notify you over the phone or e-mail after they lost your letter? I called them last week and they told me my decision had been sent in mid-February and that I should have already received it, so it appears mine was lost in the mail. How did you end up finally getting your acceptance. I am totally freaking out over this because frankly Emory is the only school I want to go to, so I really want to know my status.anonstudent wrote:I got this last year....and called. Likely you are in.
I emailed them today because of the email (not fafsa) I mentioned earlier in this post but no acceptance in the mail. They just responded about a half hour ago with my letter (including scholarship info) attached. They said they will resend my packet. and because someone asked above my #s are their 25th for lsat, 75th for gpa.hopingtogetin wrote:May I ask if they were willing to notify you over the phone or e-mail after they lost your letter? They were willing to email me a copy of the letter (and mailed out a second, which got lost as well).hopingtogetin wrote:May I ask if they were willing to notify you over the phone or e-mail after they lost your letter? It is worded in such a way that it sort of implies acceptance...
Thanks!!
