On a side note, how are you guys spending your time until school starts? I've actually started on some 0L prep work.

I am very excited that we have enrolled a phenomenally strong and diverse Class of 2016. It has been a unique year for law school admission, and thus, seeing our newest community members come together has been even more fulfilling for me, personally.
From this point forward, I will go to the waitlist when I anticipate an individual space opening up in the class. When we have a space, I re-review waitlist files that have struck the interest of me and the committee, and then, I usually reach out to the student via email to inquire if the student still has an interest. Usually, I will then talk with the student to gauge if there is a mutual fit, and then, if everything lines up, we will issue an invitation to join the community.
I tend to work with waitlisters fairly individually, so if you receive an email, I do hope you will respond. The class you will be joining is one of the most accomplished, academically strong, and diverse in Emory’s history; it is such an honor to be among a group that has made so much community impact...even before they have their law degrees.
I know how uncertain the process is for everyone, and I will continue to provide updates periodically throughout the summer. We have admitted people all the way until orientation, so I appreciate folks’ patience.
As always, you can also reach us at admission(a)law.emory.edu.

Just to clarify, does that mean that right now (deposit wise) the class is full?
doubtful. I know a few people who put deposits down but don't intend to attend.

I just accepted late, despite being past the deposit deadline. Emory has been really fantastic and flexible with me. Shoutout to Ethan Rosenzweig! It was great getting to meet you out here in Colorado Springs.
Since this is my first check-in thread, I'll go ahead and say it:
169/3.2, Chemical Engineering Major.
Sounds like we have some other engineers, and people from upstate NY schools! I second the feeling: glad to get out of upstate NY and back to the balmy south.
Looking forward to meeting all of you in 6 weeks.

I've withdrawn on two different occasions and still got the email, so I can almost assure you that it went to everyone haha.

It remains my first choice because I want to stay in Atlanta despite having t-14 calliber #s (girlfriend/family reasons). Should I expect to get in with good money or will I probably be reapplying in the fall?
Try the What Are My Chances forum for better responses. It sounds like a reapply is your best option, though.
