Their waitlist website says they'll definitely call first. If they can't get in touch with you via phone, then they will email. If they have not heard from you within 24 hours they will move onto the next candidate, but you have 48 to decide to attend Emory.

Here's to hoping for a Monday morning phone call!!

did anyone else on the priority list just get an email from Ethan saying, "Thanks for your patience. I hope to be in touch soon!"? I replied to his priority email the day I got it and this is the first thing I heard anything from the guy.

I feel like this email doesn't really mean anything. they could have sent this email out to their top candidates or the bottom of the barrel to keep the interest from them for longer while the top candidates accept/decline.

My GPA is slightly above the median, my LSAT is above the 75th percentile. I'm on the priority waitlist.

Also received email; I'm priority waitlisted as well. It was sent as a reply to my earlier response to the initial waitlist notification. While I'd love to think it's a good sign, I'd agree with the earlier poster that this is likely just checking in to make sure our last correspondences were received. I also attended (the amazing) Visiting Day, so that might be relevant as well.

Either way, I continue to love the way this admissions group works and wish others were more like them. Best of luck to fellow waiters!

2.3/167, but I'm a nontraditional with 10 years WE so my soft are somewhat unique and my GPA is from the 90's.

Found a website where it seems people self-report their numbers and the decision they received from Emory. Might give people an idea of what we are looking at.

Why the shocked faces? Not being a jerk, but genuinely curious. Are these numbers really low for Emory or something? Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I'm not super well-versed on great numbers for each school.
