for those who are staying on the waitlist, how are you responding to the email? would a simple one line response work or are you writing something more elaborate?

I wrote a very short, to-the-point response.

Why are folks replying to the email? Did it request a reply? I just submitted the online form...

My priority waitlist e-mail did not have a link to a form for the list, just one to the admitted students visiting day form. It also asked me to reply.

Yeah me too...

Perhaps when they had the email glitch they had to re-write the standard draft. They probably asked for replies so they wouldn't have to depend on the electronic form.
That being said, I will be calling to confirm my spot in a bit....just to be safe

I e-mailed it as an attachment. I don't know if it matters. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be getting back to anybody confirming that they received the LOCI

So basically from what I've read on the forum, Emory straight up lied to us when they said they do not rank waitlist applicants. If there is a priority list, clearly they do. I really want to go this school but their admissions process is one hell of a roller coaster ride

I don't think they ever said there wasn't one..i think they just didn't address the issue directly. But yes, i dunno about "rank" but there is definitely a priority waitlist of sorts. A non-TLS friend of mine got waitlisted but was told that he would basically be admitted after the first deposit deadline

You won't necessarily have to pay sticker, but I would plan to if you're coming off the WL.

I got in about a month or so ago but I'm posting on this topic now.

I got accepted at Fordham with 15k scholarship, and waitlisted at GW but Emory is giving me 72k scholarship so it looks like I'm attending Emory. I'm not getting my hopes up for Cornell since my grades are well below their standards but even if I do get accepted at sticker at Cornell, I think 72k at Emory is a better choice, even if I do want to get into biglaw. What do you guys think?

Anyway, good luck to the rest of u guys who's still waiting for a response

In case anyone is just curious and wants to know what an actual 1L exam actually looks like.

Had some 3L friends send me past exams since all the databases were password protected (minus Boalt's). Exams are categorized by class. Model answers included when possible.
