Was that random or did you ask?2012Lsatscore wrote:Soooo, got a letter in the mail and thought it would be the invitation to ASD (which has yet to arrive ) and it turned out to be a scholarship increase!!!!!
Instead of 5k a year plus equalizer, I will get 7.5k a year plus equalizer. So, that rounds up to 40k overall!!!!!!!!!
Yay!

UGA also increased my scholarship. Very impressed by this considering I was an ED applicant. Check your mail, everyone.

To whose attention did you send the LOCI? Email or snail mail?runforfun123 wrote:long time lurker: just wanted to give some fellow wailisters some hope- sent a LOCI on Saturday after waitlist notifcation on Wednesday: in today via email!

I sent it snail mail, attention to Dean Rollins. However, I am not 100% positive that my LOCI even played into my acceptance decision. I mailed it on Saturday, and got notification of its arrival today (after I had already been accepted via email).

Also got the scholly increase from 5K to 7500! Georgia was already my top choice, and I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with them so far. Can't wait for admitted students day!

UGA's c/o 2012 numbers were pretty good.
26 kids in firms of 501+
7 in 251-500
5 in 101-250
17 in fed clerkships,
totaling 55 out of 229. Not so bad.

I'm very happy with it. Employment score 3 points from Emory (and under 2 points away from Vandy). For the price of UGA and the money they are shelling out this year, I couldn't imagine a better deal for wanting to practice in Georgia2012Lsatscore wrote:Anyone else see the new LST report? Re: University of Georgia c/o 2016 applicants (2012-13 cycle)
I'm happy to see that Georgia seems like a decent bet. I don't have T14 scores (though I took wild shots at a couple of them anyway.) It's currently at the top of my list of acceptances. Looking forward to the meeting on April 6th.
