According to last year's thread it was snail mail, but things are going so differently it could go either way.teiswei wrote:Anyone know how we are notified? Email? Snail-mail?Mep09 wrote:Fingers crossed for scholarship info soon!

I applied last week and still haven't even gotten an acknowledgement of my app. Is this typical?

Just as a PSA, in the past the law school has invited [some?] admitted students to the Working in the Public Interest conference and even had housing provided by current students. That's the first weekend of March. So if any of you who have already been accepted might be interested in that, you might want to keep the first weekend of March free.

Finally got in (via status checker) after being under review for almost 3 months now. 2.8, 167. Probably not going to happen now that I've heard back from GW

Congrats to all those recently admitted, hope they release scholarship information soon, I'm very curious to see how they handle that this cycle.eandy wrote:Just as a PSA, in the past the law school has invited [some?] admitted students to the Working in the Public Interest conference and even had housing provided by current students. Eandy, I received an email inviting me to the Red Clay Conference in early March, is that this years equivalent to the Working in the Public Interest Conference?

Re: University of Georgia c/o 2016 applicants (2012-13 cycle)
No, that is a different Conference. WIPI is on March 2nd (sat), Red Clay is actually on March 1st this year so you could easily go to both!GATA1989 wrote:Congrats to all those recently admitted, hope they release scholarship information soon, I'm very curious to see how they handle that this cycle.eandy wrote:Just as a PSA, in the past the law school has invited [some?] admitted students to the Working in the Public Interest conference and even had housing provided by current students. Congrats, my numbers are really close to yours and I've been in review for freaking ever (since like 11/14). I've already pretty much told my wife that it's probably on the waitlist for us. Now I've got some hope (however false it may seem)fragrock wrote:Just checked the status checker and I'm in!!!!! UGA has always been my top choice, really thought I was destined for the waitlist. I was in review from 11/28, so It's definitely possible! I see you went to Portland State, I'm originally from that area too! Hopefully you can join the PNW contingent at UGA!bandenjamin wrote:Congrats, my numbers are really close to yours and I've been in review for freaking ever (since like 11/14).
