This and also did you notice your status checker update a few days before decision? If so, do you recall how many days before?
Thanks a lot :D
I applied and went complete 11/29, status changed 12/10, and then on 1/2 the status changed and it said at the top of the status checker "A final decision has been made on your application. You will receive the decision either via email or USPS mail. Because a decision has been made, there is no longer a need to check your application status and this the final announcement that will be made on this online status check page."

I received the email the next day. If your status checker doesn't say that at the top, then you're probably waiting on one more status change.

I got an acceptance E-mail from L&C, but I'm still waiting for the letter. Do they typically divulge $$$ info in the e-mail?
I'm on the border of getting money, I think (161/3.25), but it's going to play a huge decision in where I go, obviously. Thanks!
you'll find out in the packet, very few schools say it in the email. as for scholarships, it comes to more than just scores, although it seems like a huge part of it. you have a pretty good shot at something if you have decent softs as well.
Thanks a ton.

I applied much later than I should have, by the way. 12-24. Accepted on 1-14.

yeah, it seems that if you have decent stats they get to your application a lot faster after the initial big cycle or two. I applied a lot later to temple and cardozo than some other schools (both higher and lower regarded), but I heard back from the late applications just about as fast as the others. Of course, i'm still waiting on UW and a couple california schools.

DECISION RENDERED 1/17/13. So scared. ASW does not work. Did it work for others who were admitted after they saw the DR status?

Did your "complete" date change a few days before today? If so, when? Thanks

Mine worked a day or 2 after, and oddly enough with my alternate email. Try again tomorrow, and best of luck!

That is a nice touch. You're the only person I know of that has received a phone call this year. Congrats!

got a call from the dean just the other day. I had been accepted a while back but it was a really impressive touch, he was familiar with where I had studied (I've been at 3 undergrad schools) and he knew my softs pretty well too. Again, nice touch.

That is great! Congratulations! I wonder how many people he calls? Sounds pretty special. For how long did you talk?

Has anybody else received a call from the dean?

It's been days since this thread was updated. Makes me wonder if the adcomms went on a mini vacation.

Did anyone get a "unique situations" email subtly suggesting part time?

Status Checker stuck at complete 1/11/13. This was the first update. But now there is a notation of a mailing sent 1/25 with no explaination as to what the mailing says. In fact, it's blank. Only a date.
Thoughts?

I'm a 2L at L&C
To answer a question a few pages back, the 1st year curve is 3.0.
By "max curve" I think they just mean that the max for each class is 3.0.

Feel free to PM me if you have questions.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
