If you have that mentality in mind, you realize that the change in employment just doesnt matter as much. be in that rank, all things equal you'll be in a position to finish school with a job. don't be in that rank, assume the worst.

Honestly, I liked the pre-edit one more. 8)

Does this mean I should abandon the thread and/or TLS for this view?

Can someone tell me how they are ranked so highly?

Looking through the years, it appears that their prospects are worsening as the economy is getting better (even taking into account differences in the measures for each year)
I'd say this is a shitty year and hopefully won't continue afterwards.
yea tbf...most schools have a shitty year at some point. Hopefully it motivates W&L's CSO to step up their game and the adcomm to start reducing class sizes

This is like the exact opposite of SMU.

Faculty resources are 15% and Peer score plus lawyers/judges score is 40%. Placement is only 20%, unfortunately.
That's why I said its like the exact opposite of SMU. Despite having T-20ish employment numbers, the stigma SMU has, as to where half of Texas just despises that school, brings it down.

75th percentile private sector starting salary - $110,000

^that's the only number anyone reading this thread should care about. You will get this salary. Just don't fuck up.

Since last years class fluctuated so much with the ranking hike, hopefully the drop out of the top 25 and drop in employment statistics makes this year a class of <100.

I kind of get what you're saying, but the 9-month employment numbers are like 67% employed and only 3 school-funded positions. So it's not like those people aren't getting jobs.

I'm a graduating 3L and the cabin I'm living in is available for rent starting May 15.

It's an awesome place for 2 or 3 people who love the outdoors, or a small family. Let me know if you have questions. More info and pics in this album:

Since I don't think I'll get the missing decisions by the 15th I'll most likely deposit around the 13/14th

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
