WL by email.
164/international. The 24 hour response/acceptance window is ridiculous.

WLed as well. Deciding whether I want to select "Yes! I wish to be placed on the wait list for both full-time and part-time. I understand that if I am admitted to the part-time division my name will be removed from the wait list, but that I may switch to the full-time division after my first year." on the confirmation form.
Did anyone else find it confusing where one of the questions/answers on SCU's Waitlist FAQ page says: "If I am admitted to the part-time program can I remain on the list for full-time?
Yes."?

Still waiting on anything from them. I really thought SCU would have gotten back to me by now. I'm leaning toward Golden Gate now merely because of what they're offering ($20k scholly at 3.0 GPA stip and placement into HLP). It's basically 1 and 1A with SCU and GG right now.
As much as I would love to attend SCU, I think the current offer from GG gives me the best chance to succeed. At this point though, I know I'll be going to law school...just probably not at SCU (unless they offer a similar package, which I doubt).

I'm hoping to hear something from them today or next week; fingers crossed. Only thing I've received has been the newsletter from the dean. Withdrew 5 of the 9 offers I have gotten in hopes that SCU comes through.

Patriots, did you not apply to SFU? I feel like that would probably be a much better option than GGU... For the rank if nothing else.

USF has been giving out weird decisions lately. Most likely due to their rank drop from 106 to 144. Desperate measures to keep their rank afloat.onionskin wrote:Patriots, did you not apply to SFU? I feel like that would probably be a much better option than GGU... For the rank if nothing else.
Patriots, hope you get your SCU decision sometime soon.

I was waitlisted. I'm on the waitlist, but I doubt they'd offer me money/honors program if they accepted me. And yeah, I hope SCU gets back to me soon.

SCU just came through. Waitlisted :/ I'll probably commit to Golden Gate soon. That offer is the best thing on the table.

I usually stalk the UC Hastings thread, but thought I should say "hi".
I was admitted 8April, letter came via snail mail 12April, and email with my ecampus on 18April. My app was completed 28Feb with my Feb LSAT score. If Hastings accepts me, I'll be withdrawing. Good luck to anyone else still waiting!

Does anyone know the chances of making it off the SCU waitlist?

Admitted today via status checker. From EA to in committee 2/6, 5/1, 5/6. So happy the wait is over!

Just had my scholarship increased from 25k to 30k. Still haven't sent in my deposit. They don't negotiate, do they? I'm WL at some T14s but their proximity to the bay area is attractive. If i could get a near full ride, i would seriously consider.

After the second deposit passes, I believe they'll circle back to some people. In fact, last years forums show people received greater offers in summer!UMich11 wrote:Just had my scholarship increased from 25k to 30k. Still haven't sent in my deposit. No sure about the wl, but I am sure it'll move soon.

I'm glad they lowered my scholarship stip to a 3.0 instead of top 25%. Much more reasonable.

They were basically begging for people to attend last year, deposit deadline doesn't mean much for them.UMich11 wrote:When is/was the first deposit deadline? My scholarship was just increased by 5k/year but i thought the deadline already passed?

My 20.5k scholarship was increased to 30k with the reduced stips as well. What do people think about negotiating the stips lower or away altogether?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
