Received email about joining accepted student facebook group. No facebook group exists. Am I missing something here, or am I just not capable of handling this?

Yeah, I see 2015 and 2014. They might not have it set up yet.

Legendary is an accurate adjective. I really think all of the questions you could possibly have are addressed in it.

How long after you received your acceptance letter did the binder arrive? I have a feeling they only send them out in batches, maybe a few times a month.

A week, maybe? Wasn't long at all.

Scholarship offer, roughly $14k a year, not bad--put tuition on par with what I've been offered at Colorado and U of A. Unfortunately the stips aren't great--3.35 or higher. If last year's GPA percentiles hold, that means it's about top 40%. So a bit of a :D :( thing going on right now. Hopefully they'll negotiate a little, at least on the stips if not the money. I'd like to stay in Utah, but I don't want to risk paying full price for 2 out of the 3 years when I could have guaranteed (or in the case of U of A, top 90% stipulated) low tuition at schools in surrounding states. This is becoming a harder decision than I thought it was going to be when I started.

Above median GPA, above 75th LSAT, and I've been "under review" since 12/11/2012. LOL @ UofU.

Wouldn't it be great if those offers were transferrable!

To those of you who got scholarships, do you mind me asking what your gpa/lsat was?

BYU (boo to BYU, btw) : 3.17, 169.

Anyone else going to the Admitted Candidate Event thing on Friday? I'm still annoyed by their non-negotiable stips and binding April 5 deadline, but I'm visiting my other options next week so I figure I should get a good picture of everything before I have to make a decision in two weeks (!).

Me me me me. If I ran, I think I could get to the law school in about 25 seconds from where I live. I'll be there. Numbers in my profile on scholarships as well.

I think I'm going to pick my law school based off of the ASD swag/ meals provided. Seems legit.

Alcohol removed Dom Perignon, obviously. With the dry campus and all, ya know.

But seriously, they be servin' breakfast. I need me a hearty, potential lawyer sized platter of the finest bacon known to man.

Just pour the Dom in the stadium parking lot, it'll be like a tailgate.

Ideally, yes. Or at least something more than like one tiny danish.

They picked a good time to do admissions day, as they've somehow managed to find a time when us 1L's won't look like we're going to stroke out at any time.

Also, I will absolutely be sneaking into the Gibby to steal your food. So there's that. Better be coffee.

Way above 75th LSAT, above median GPA, and I just got the rejection letter in the mail. YP much, UofU? Oh well; with a full ride to a state school and a half scholly to BYU, there was literally no amount of money they could've offered me to get me to go. I only wanted them for scholarship leverage. Good luck to everyone else.
