Decision letter sent 11/20... haven't received it yet, but I do have a Baylor ID #... is it safe to assume I've been accepted?

Re: Baylor Class of 2016 (2012-2013 cycle)
FINALLY got my letter today. I'm in with a half-ride. Baylor is a poor match for my personality and career goals so I'm not going to be accepting this offer. Texas Tech gave me a 2/3rds ride and suits me much better so I'm leaning towards them at the moment. Best of luck to those still waiting!

Received the admissions packet -- and a scholly offer of $72K over three years -- in Monday's mail. I can't see myself living in Waco but it was encouraging as the first decision in what figures to be a long (and interesting, perhaps) cycle.

I live just a few hours outside of Waco and plan on visiting the campus later this semester.AMW2016 wrote:Received the admissions packet -- and a scholly offer of $72K over three years -- in Monday's mail. From what I have heard the campus is beautiful, but I have been in Waco a few times and it is not the most appealing of places.
Congrats on the acceptance and offer!

Decision rendered on 11/13, 9 days after applying. Didn't get the letter until two weeks later, but was accepted with $72,000 over 3 years. Stats are 162/3.92.

Received acceptance letter in the mail on November 16th for Spring 2013 with a scholarship offer of $72k a year. Any other potential Spring starters?
154/3.9; URM; male.
I have paid my seat deposit but am going back and forth between schools. I've been accepted to both SMU and Tech (with a $13k scholarship). I would love some advice on which school to select. SMU Admissions said I am highly likely to receive a hefty scholarship.

So it says my decision was mailed on November 20th, but I haven't received a letter yet. How long did it take y'all to get your letter back once it said decision was mailed?
Oh and side note: Jake, when did you apply for SMU and when did you hear back? I was under the impression they don't start sending out decisions until January even for early decision.

I applied in September. I was the first applicant to be accepted to SMU. They typically do not release decisions before January, but there were extenuating circumstances in my case.TheRedBlueBerry wrote: Oh and side note: Jake, when did you apply for SMU and when did you hear back? To the two above posters... I am assuming you are starting in the fall quarter, should you attend?

I visited Baylor Law today and got a nice tour as well as sit in on a Con Law class. Overall it was very pleasant experience!

I really enjoyed it. The professor was great - knowledgeable, funny, and a great speaker. However, I was told that class wasn't formatted the same as other classes (every student was assigned specific cases and when cases became relevant the students had to come down and speak on/debate the case in relation to the course lecture).JakeAsch wrote:What did you think about the class?FallingHigher wrote:I visited Baylor Law today and got a nice tour as well as sit in on a Con Law class.
