For those of you admitted with substantial scholarship offers, did the offers come in with your acceptance letter? I got a decent offer from UF but nothing for FSU other than the acceptance. Trying to figure out if this means they aren't offering me anything? I called admissions and they said they email scholarship info but I am guessing this isn't for the big amounts. Any information is greatly appreciated!

My dad is a Floridian and I'm really interested in FSU ...if they can make it affordable for me. My acceptance paperwork did not mention scholarships at all, so I'm a bit concerned.

Deciding between FSU and Tulane.

Was visiting schools last week while taking a vacation from work - my application had been on hold for months (finished right about when the application opened). I was originally not going to even visit, giving up on the dream... called as I was driving through on my way to New Orleans from Stetson and asked the woman on the phone (who proved to be the director of admissions) "My app has been on hold since October and I was calling to see if I'd been rejected before I show up to campus...".

She got the committee together and handed me my packet when I arrived that afternoon. Completely unexpected, but I'm in!!

Not entirely sure if I'll attend, but this was my number one school from the start. Couldn't be happier... couldn't be more surprised! I'm leaning towards it! Very excited.

Congratulations! FSU is a great school, and much cheaper than Tulane, if that counts for anything!

FSU doesn't send out scholarship information with the initial acceptance paperwork, so don't worry too much about that! They send it separately. Also, Drea888 - if you got a scholarship from UF, I can only assume you'll get one from FSU. UF is usually more stingy about scholarships than FSU. And in the off chance that you do not hear from FSU, you should tell admissions about your scholarship offer from UF -- they might be more inclined to send money your way then!

Still waiting to hear from FSU... going crazy with this wait. It's my first choice so I'm really hoping for a miracle at this point. I know they haven't sent out rejections yet, so here's hoping they have a final round of acceptances!

Fingers crossed, I've been complete since 3/15 and my status just changed to "Under Review" this morning. So sounds like there's some movement.

yeah, I just checked mine too and I saw under review as well. After checking it 10 times a day and having nothing change, that under review just about gave me a heart attack! Cautiously excited and nervous...

they said they would be making all decisions by the end of this month and early may. so on my knees praying I get in!! I am still at application complete -_-

I have one in my LSAC form but I live in Ukraine and really have a doubt about phone call. Maybe it's better to send them email with request to give their decision via email.

Didnt get a call either... they have my number so I'm guessing these are denials or WLs.

Oh my god... five minutes after that post I got the call from admissions. Guess i was a little too hasty! Best of luck to everyone else... and they are still making phone calls to admitted students FYI. Can't wait to see everyone in Tally in August!

I went under review this morning. If you look at earlier posts. A few people posted on 4/24 they went under review and on 4/25 one person posted they got a telephone call in the late afternoon of acceptance. So if they do what they did last week a decision will be made by tomorrow.
