/sob/ Going crazy here 164/3.66. Complete 1/4 but no movement recently, probably near the bottom of the stack because of the December LSAT. MN and IA didn't hold but IL, WI, and Marquette all seem to have held my app even though I didn't request it.
A million thanks to those posting updates. You're giving me hope!

It went complete 11 days ago...I would say that there is no cause for sobbing quite yet.

Annet, there is no reason to sob. The admissions officers at UW are pros at what they do, and they just can't ignore those numbers. Have hope.... you will do great!

Nah, the sobbing is just because this wait is driving me bonkers. I'm pretty sure I'll get in but not having certainty the killer. Plus I absolutely refuse to count my chickens and all of that.
A lot of it is having a job I'm really not too fond of but can't quit yet. I think this would be nicer were I still an undergrad.

As someone with a job I can tell you that the idea of quitting and becoming a broke student again is terrifying. Once you get used to buying whatever you want at the grocery store it's hard to go back. Speaking of which, someone PLEASE tell me there is a Trader Joe's in Madison.

There is, and it's pretty close to the university too (Monroe Street)! Plus after years of downtown not really having a grocery store there is a big shiny new one essentially on campus. There is also now a Target much, much closer than before and on nice bus routes.

That may have legitimately moved UW up my personal list...

looks like we got in on the same day. are you in-state or out-of-state? looking at this thread that seems to make a difference when it comes to scholarships. :/
in-state. i'm not sure if it matters, but one parent went to wisconsin business school, another to wisconsin law, and my two siblings are undergrads there. i have no idea if any of that matters or if they take likelihood of attendance into consideration, but thought i'd mention that just in case.

Meh, I wouldn't read too much into it just yet. Ams, have you submitted your FAFSA yet? Maybe that has something to do with it.

Ha, well, so much for that theory, but I still don't think we need to panic quite yet. There'll be plenty of time for that in a couple of months

Given how slow they are at making admissions decisions, I have no doubt that they take as much time doling out money, too. Keep crossing your fingers! It will happen!

Same here. The email asked to keep the details of the award confidential.

Just got email offering $$$ and was also told to keep the details private! Since I got my acceptance a few weeks ago I am assuming this is the beginning of waves of scholly offers! The money has def moved U of Wisc to the top, gonna make decisions harder >_<!

I just checked for Indiana and it changed to Decision Made! They do snail mail so have to wait for a bit, but might want to check yours.

I got the scholarship email as well. I just don't believe it. I never expected to get admitted in the first place. This is unreal.
Good luck to all those still waiting!
