Same on the weak stats >.< I'm really starting to fear how much of a numbers game WL action is compared to regular decisions. I'm way more pessimistic now than I was when I initially received their WL letter. I'm still hopeful but definitely not excited.

Low LSAT here, and very high undergrad gpa and grad school gpa. I totally understand the mentality behind accepting based on the numbers, it is just a bit depressing. Fingers crossed it goes well, otherwise, time to retake.

Just got a wait list update email asking me to reply if I"m still interested.

As a kicker, the header read "Dear XXXX." Seriously?

I recently submitted another LOCI, is it even necessary to reply to this e-mail. At least my LOCI wasn't addressed to ###....

Really strange. Why not just omit that header so it doesn't come off totally impersonal?

I just sent a LOCI last week. I suppose I will just reattach and note my continued interest in response to this email.

That's what I was going to do, but it all seems so redundant! Its from the same e-mail they recommend you send additional materials to, waitlist@law.gwu.edu

We're off the grid!

Cheers :)

FT here.
I also noted my LOCI, and said that my email was simply to confirm that I was still interested in being considered for c/o 2016

Did anyone else's email start with "Dear ###" ...Everyone knows the letters aren't written for each applicant, but come on!

Edit: never mind... I see that you guys already discussed this.

I just got another WL email specifically to me apologizing for the glitch. I am CONVINCED they follow this message board.

Likewise, and I had the same thought about them monitoring TLS forums

What is up with law schools today. 3 schools have e-mail out typos or similar errors today.

I LOLed so hard at work after receiving the corrected e-mail. I think they're the only school I've seen correct their typos. I honestly hate mail merges, happens to the best of us.

I'll say though, after being a little annoyed by the "XXX," I was doubly impressed by their willingness to admit a mistake.
