I would, but I only have a 30k scholarship from George Washington. I doubt anyone would trade that for a 120k scholarship from George Washington... unless someone wants a rejection from Berkeley?wannabelawstudent wrote:Please go to the decision exchangeSteelPenguin wrote:Gimme!! I agree. The box/booklet combo with the letter in it is really classy and smooth.Dream Weave wrote:Just got the GW acceptance package. I admit that I am the ultimate sucker, but its really cool!

How long after getting the acceptance email and the mail box thing have people generally been getting their scholarship information? I submitted my FAFSA a bit late, only a week and a half ago right after I got my acceptance email.

Re: George Washington c/o 2016
Has anyone who applied part-time received a scholarship? I previously posted this question but no one could confirm the answer.
I did more digging and found Official ABA Data as of 2012, of 304 PT GW students 23 recieved grants. The median amount was $7,500.
Here is the link if anyone needs it. http://www.lsac.org/lsacresources/publi ... ba5246.pdf
Also, I applied late and my application is pending. Can anyone else who applied part-time tell me how long before they received a response?

Does anyone know what the admissions event at the California Club is going to be like? Is it just a mingle and meet or will there be a presentation of some sort? I'm coming from work in Santa Monica, so will probably be running a little late.

Re: George Washington c/o 2016
So I went complete in mid-November, and my last status checker update was mid-January. Given the 6+ weeks of radio silence and the fact that even waitlisted folks are getting updates, would it be inadvisable to call the office to ask to see what's up? I know conventional wisdom is not to pester them unless needed, but my wait seems...unusual.

Forgive a late joiner to this forum, but I've been scanning and don't see any indicators other than decisions are usually release on Thursdays. Are there any other patterns I missed?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Not sure about patterns.. I was accepted on a Wednesday morning and LSN indicated that a group of other people were accepted at the same time.

double check the dress code. The Cal Club used to require coat and tie.

The Cal Club website says coat/tie required. But i emailed someone from the school and they told me that it was business casual--don't wear jeans, but a suit is not necessary.

Anybody want to give me a rundown of the LA reception? I'm going to the SF event tomorrow.
