I asked someone who recently got a scholly offer and apparently scholarship info comes with your admit packet, so I wouldn't worry.

Thanks for checking - I really like W&M, but I don't think I could attend without some $$.

Congrats to all those admitted. I'm thinking it probably doesn't bode too well for me that a lot of people who applied after me are getting in according to LawSchoolNumbers. Hoping I'm wrong, as W&M is pretty high on my list.

I still have nothing and I am beginning to worry that I will be held until spring. There are tons of people with high LSAT scores applying this cycle to W&M so I will probably get dinged.

What makes you say this? Does your application status not say complete and under review like the others?

I don't even have a status option.

Dang, mine was like that until Thursday. Does anyone know (and I know the answer is probably no) that if an application is complete and under review that the decision is not far off or could it still be in the Spring?

From all indications the decision should be imminent.

A lot of schools notify the applicants when they are held. I wouldn't go there just yet. Are you at or above the medians? If so, you should be more worried about being put on the wait list than being denied.
I am above the 25 but below both medians.

Are you retaking the LSAT in December? Could be why you haven't heard anything yet.

No I will most likely be taking a year off but I decided to let this cycle play out since most were free applications.

I will keep all of you updated on my application. Terrible LSAT (mid 150's), GPA 3.95, great softs and LOR's. I see that a lot of the acceptances have excellent LSAT scores and average GPA's. I am hoping to even out some of those numbers but I don't feel good about my chances. I am retaking the December LSAT but decided to apply at W&M early since there was so much activity. I have never visited the school but would love to be accepted and visit.

You have a solid shot.
Since you are retaking, a 164 would probably put you in contention for UVA ED, and anything higher would open up lots of doors. Good luck with whatever happens!

Hopefully I will improve but basketball season is underway and there will be very limited time for LSAT review. Oh well, I don't want to take a year off so it will be what it is. Good luck to all- this is an exciting time with so much uncertainty about where we might be next year at this time.....

Did you guys write the "why W&M essay"? I didn't and have been under review for a few days and haven't heard. Getting nervous/kicking myself for not writing it.

I haven't submitted my app yet, and I'm not seeing a space for a "why W&M" essay. Which essay are you referring to?

Is it not an optional essay? I could be getting it confused with another application.
