Also, for those of you who have been admitted, were you assigned a second email ending in @slu or something like that?

I was but I have no idea how to use it. The law school's website has an email portal but you have to have an established password to use it.katep77 wrote:In! Never was assigned a secondary email.

Don't know if you rec'vd the admissions packet yet, but my email, SLU Net ID, and Banner ID (Student ID) were all in there.1984 wrote:I was but I have no idea how to use it. I'm going to try, let me know if you have any success. I think some schools have different strategies this year. Based on LSN, it seems like schools like SLU, Kent, UIUC, and DePaul are offering larger amounts of cash with no stips upfront to certain applicants to draw them in right off the bat, which means they might be less willing to negotiate later on. Hopefully this isn't the case though.fbmelms wrote:Does anyone know if they negotiate scholarships?

So I just got the change on my status checker to "Decision Made, Letter to follow shortly."
Is that a good or bad thing? If I was denied admission, would it just say denied?

Are any of you mainly considering SLU for the Health Law program? Do you think it is worth going to even if you have gotten into higher ranked schools but it would be around 27 k with scholarship.

I know this is for the class of 2016 but I am hoping you have some insight for me. I have applied and yesterday afternoon my status updated to "Decision Made". Then today I notice that I have been assigned a SLU email. I haven't received any email or letters as of yet, granted it only update yesterday. I am just anxious to find out! How long after the status update did you start getting your emails? I hope it's a good sign that I was already assigned a SLU email. Thank you!!!

Re: SLU Law applicants 2016
Hey, everyone. I got all my acceptance stuff back in January, but my password reset isn't working, so I can't access my SLU email address. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Alice Dickherber gave me the number to contact the IT department, but I was just curious if anyone else had this same issue. If anyone hasn't yet toured the new law school building and/or met with any of the staff and professors, I will assure you that the building is absolutely wonderful and everyone I have spoken to is more than accommodating, respectful, and sincere. I'm pretty excited to start in August, but I'm really looking forward to quitting my job...
If any of you are military veterans, I can be of assistance if you need help with anything, since I've had to deal with them for the last five years, both medically and educationally, through my bachelors and masters programs.
By the way, I sent my application in on January 5th and got my acceptance letter in about 3 weeks, but don't give up hope if you haven't heard anything yet or you have been wait-listed. I always recommend sending in a typed letter, or an addendum, and mailing it in with any new updates on your end and expressing your continued interest in SLU law. You can always go back to the LSAC website and type in any addendum through your application from there, too.
