I'd like to know as well. I'd love to attend, but paying sticker here scares the hell out of me...

Chicago seems like the most logical destination; are there other places that make more sense for an ND grad to look to?
People here go back to where they have ties.

You'd be crazy to come here at sticker.

I'm probably going to retake if I don't like the future results and I can't successfully negotiate my current offers. As I've stated in another post, within my range, USC/UCLA would be ideal because the SoCal market is where I want to be at. That and I wouldn't have to worry about rent.

I wouldn't go to USC/UCLA at sticker either, but without cost of living is at least a little better.

Good luck!

But if you don't want to "go back" anywhere, there is a shot at Chicago/Columbus/etc with good grades and extra-curriculars, right?

It scares me how everyone places such emphasis on ties these days. I don't have ties to much of anywhere, except Hawaii, and I don't want to practice there.

sorry to ask a very basic question - what does sticker mean here? does it mean to pay the full tuition & fees?

Hi, why you think ND doesn't worth it? is the employment rate poor?

It's not great. Go to lawschooltransparency.com and look up be numbers. The biggest problem with paying sticker is that it leaves you with $200k+ of debt and only 25% of the class get biglaw (high paying) jobs.

So I was waitlisted back in Jan, but ND just sent me an advertisement to "apply now." What a troll.

25% is way optimistic of you.

Closer to 15% (though it's probably inched closer back to 20% now). I get your point and I still can't believe that people come on here asking why ND at sticker is a bad idea.

For those waitlisted: Do you think if I am going for a visit I should still write a LOCI? Or should I just speak to them when I am there?

I tried to negotiate a little. I was told it is "much to soon for that". Would love to know if others got different responses

I got "we don't negotiate scholarships" and "maybe later in the cycle we will give out more money if it is availabe"
