What does the acceptance packet look like? Is it just a letter, or a box?

Just got my letter! It came in priority mail envelope and inside there was a folder with info and a decal.

Re: Notre Dame Class of 2016 Applicants
Thanks so much! I applied to about half a dozen other schools (3 private, 3 public). Honestly though, I love the idea of going to NDLS - I'm excited to see how everything plays out!timeandspace11 wrote:Congrats!! How many other schools are you applying to?

I don't think my status changed at all. It went from complete to "Decision Mailed" within 2-3 weeks. Decisions are snail mail, they won't tell you via phone or email.kaf5250 wrote:first status update since I submitted last night, for those of you who got decisions already, how many times did your status change before it said decision made? and were your decisions email or snail mail ? i'm so excited to maybe get a decision soon!!

"Decision Made" today. Waiting for the snail mail; agree on the delay due to the holiday. Crossing my fingers. Have $600/$400 and due dates next to "seat deposits" on NDLS status page, for whatever that's worth.
-3.38/169, above average softs

I think some people were saying that the numbers show up if you've been accepted...but don't quote me on that. Hope you're in!

166/3.75, FWIW. At one median and above the other, figured I'd be in.North wrote:Sorry, bro. That's probably where I'm headed too.Paraflam wrote:Waitlisted. Damn it.

Congrats, that's a hefty sum of money. Did you write a why ND essay?ldo5014 wrote:Accepted! $25,000 per year scholarship as long as I maintain a 2.00 GPA.
In terms of numbers, 3.8 GPA & 168 LSAT
I'm on the fence about applying. I haven't received a fee waiver and I've decided to leave it up to the hands of fate. If ND football beats USC this Saturday I'll pay the fee and apply.

I've heard here on TLS that a "Why ND?" style LOCI can end up going a long way.Paraflam wrote:166/3.75, FWIW. At one median and above the other, figured I'd be in.North wrote:Sorry, bro. That's probably where I'm headed too.Paraflam wrote:Waitlisted. Damn it.

Re: Notre Dame Class of 2016 Applicants
Yeah, I didn't write a Why ND, didn't think it'd be a deal breaker. Definitely will be writing an LOCI though.Unoriginalist wrote:I've heard here on TLS that a "Why ND?" style LOCI can end up going a long way.Paraflam wrote:166/3.75, FWIW.
